One more point here is.
Though HART6 is backward compatible,any HART 5 host can also talk to HART 6 devices,may be with few features not available.

Now the question is..

In multi drop mode I have a HART5 device and HART6 devices.Suppose HART 6 sends delayed response messages.What would happen?.

Note:HART5 devices are also in the network.....

How HART 5 host can handle this situation?.Can any experts explain??
