I am very pleased to have found your website which has given a lot of information on Fieldbus and HART. I wish others, like me, will find your site invaluable to learn about network usage not just for computing application but also for the control and monitoring of many other equipment too.

Am I right to say that BACNet by ASHRAE is a similar kind of idea to Fieldbus/HART? I don't know if you could outline their differences if it is possible to compare them at all?
